EGOSYNK ("we", "us") operates egosynk.com. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it's handled — in plain terms, matching what the site actually does.

What we collect

When	Data
Creating an account	Name, email, phone (optional), password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see or store your actual password)
Checking out	Name, phone, email (optional), delivery address, order contents
Making a payment	Handled entirely by Razorpay — we never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details
Browsing	Your cart is kept in your browser's session storage, not on our servers, until you check out

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order
To let you log in and see your order history
To email order confirmations and account-related messages (password reset, email verification)
To prevent fraud and abuse (e.g. detecting repeated failed login attempts)

Who we share it with

Razorpay — processes your payment. See their privacy policy.
Resend — sends transactional emails on our behalf (order confirmations, password resets). They only receive what's needed to send that email.
Netlify — hosts our website, functions, and database (Netlify Blobs).

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account exists, or as required for tax/accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Cookies

We use exactly one cookie: egosynk_session, an HttpOnly login session cookie, set only if you create an account or log in. It's not used for tracking or advertising. We don't use any third-party analytics or ad-tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing support@egosynk.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
